Bien situado, excelente comida y vistas.
Very nice hotel moderately priced and ideally located for the occasional tourist. Cheap 24h underground parking nearby. Efficient staff. Warmly recommended
Our stay was very nice and the staff was very helpful. The price was reasonable and very close to various tourist sites and shopping. The Cathedral was within walking distance. This hotel was build in the 30's and still shows the signs of the time when it was in it's glory. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
While walking the CaminoI checked in to this hotel at about 2pm (55Euro). I was extremely tired after much walking and so immediately had a shower and went to sleep on top of the bed. After about an hour i was awoken by about 30 teenagers in a school group running wild and yelling loudly on my floor and i could also hear the thumping on the floor above. I asked them politely if they could keep the noise down because i was trying to sleep. They were quiet momentarily, but as soon as i closed the door the yelling resumed unabated along with abuse directed at me - i heard the English word mother******! I went o reception to complain. I was treated with scorn and derision, laughed at, and told that there was nothing could be done as students were youthful. Even the accompanying teachers refused to admonish the students. I concluded that I wouldn't be able to get the good night's rest that I badly needed so decided to go to another hotel. I explained that I had used the shower and sle
This hotel is within 10 minutes' walk of everything in the historic centre of Burgos. Close to the cathedral, the Plaza Mayor, situated by the river and on the beautiful riverside pedestrian walkway. Less than 10 minutes' walk to the bus station. My room - which cost all of 35 euros - was clean and warm and had a very adequate and clean bathroom. Windows opened onto an amazing view of the river and the Teatro Principal. This building doesn't seem to have had a major renovation in decades. My room had a hardwood floor (oak?), and a badly damaged door -- in fact, when the afternoon sun hit the front of the hotel, you could see sunlight around most of the doors as you walked down the corridor. The guest lounge had a 1950s look to it. The elevator was elderly but functioned just fine. As is common in Spanish hotels, you could hear everything from the corridor and adjacent rooms. The breakfast room was pleasant, the staff were helpful and courteous, although not numerous.
OK,i want to getstraight to the point with this place,we booked through travel agent and one of the 1st things we specified was that we wouldnt turn up to a building site!!!!which is exactly what happened, under construction(oh my god)if that wasnt enough we couldnt even get into our room ,when asked for help,oh my god,how rude these people were, and to think they are providing a service here,to be fair the rooms were clean but i just had to take pictures of the view it was horrifying,it had a balcony but it was like looking out on to a exercise yard it was awful, these guys make the pictures of this hotel look good, but dont be fooled, the hotel is basis and thats all we wanted, just wanted somewhere to rest our heads!!!but i would never return there and i certainly wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone im afraid, people speak from experiences, what one person may think another may disagree, but i for one wouldnt return, barcelona is beautiful the hotel wasnt, its as simple as that!!!!
