For the price, I would recommend this hotel. I recently stayed at another Extended Stay in a different town, and this hotel was much nicer. The rooms were clean, and the property is maintained. There are restaurants nearby. Coffee, granola bars and apples are available for breakfast. Shampoo was not provided. The Internet worked well. There were not a lot of TV channels, but that did not bother me. The hotel must allow pets as I saw quite a few.
Just a great staff went out of there way so we could check in 6 hrs early to get dressed for my fathers funeral. Room was very clean 4 pillows, and all the things needed from shampoo to microwave hair dryer stove etc
No issues at all. We're at Far East end of hotel, little to no noise from hwy41. Perfect location for mall and restaurants. Room is clean, king bed and pillows comfortable, little kitchen very convenient. Our check in clerk was very friendly. Price was right, clean, friendly, can't ask for more. 1 little peeve, very limited tv channels.
The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing special but quiet enough, bed comfortable, decent pillows and friendly staff. Great walking area for my dog, with pet station. I appreciated that. I was given a handicap room which wasn't a problem but the shower had some water damage issues, but worked fine. I would stay there again. I thought the pet fee was a bit high, but typical.
Stopped at the facility for a one night stay Sunday onto Monday (10/06 to 10/07) without a reservation. I had previously searched the web for information on Rates. Normal rates are listed 55.00, 65.00 per night Sunday thru Thursdays. I was expecting an increase in price due to it being a Packer Football Day. However was amazed that the price was more than DOUBLE. I was given a quote of 119.00. for the same room that is 55.00. Did not stay due to what I consider Scalping. Very Poor Business Practice.
I had never heard about the Extended Stay America before this trip for a Packer game. It was a nice place to stay, very comfortable and close to restaurants and shopping. The price was reasonable and offered a kitchenette and comfortable beds. The only drawback was that the bathroom was very small. The staff was great and gave excellent directions!
Very quiet stay which is exactly what I need when traveling. The staff was exemplary. I heard a friendly greeting every time I entered the lobby. The manager made a special point of coming out of his office and asking me if everything was to my satisfaction. Any complaints I have are minor and not "deal breakers." First, the corporate online reservation system was not clear (to me at least) that there were two room prices during my week long stay. When I called the hotel this was corrected. The rooms are nothing fancy but they were clean and all I required as I was alone. TV monitor was new and great quality although as it is on a low dresser, it is hard to view while in bed. If my wife would have been along the dresser drawer space would have been inadequate. If you have AT&T wireless devices (iPad, etc.) the hotel wifi is not compatible - luckily there is a strong 4G signal in the area. Front doors need a handicapped opening switch as if one's hands are full of luggage (or trying to
We were going to a Green Bay Packer's game. Having lived in Milwaukee until 2 years ago, my husband and I know that if you want a hotel in Green Bay/Appleton area on a Packer weekend, you usually have to books room shortly after the schedule is announced. With that said, we did find 2 reasonably priced rooms still available for Saturday 11/3. We choose the Extended Stay America in Appleton. I'd read reviews on Trip Advisor before I booked the room. While the hotel room was clean, the room and furniture were in need of remodeling. The bathroom seemed very tight. The bed and pillow were just okay, not the worst I've slept in, but certainly not one of the better hotel beds. If you like a kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, you may want to consider it. The price was fairly reasonable (on Packer weekends most hotels sell out so I considered the price reasonable) and it was very conveniently located. While close to the Internet, the hotel was quiet. The Fox River Valley Mall is ve
We needed a place to stay without much time before a packer game. This seemed to be one of the nicer places available. It met our main criteria. It was clean and had a shower. It also had a stove and full fridge. The beds are just doubles and the bathroom very small (you have to step to the side of the toilet to close the door).Staff was very helpful. No breakfast. It worked for our overnight. They are more set for a long term visitor (hence the name).
I drove in from out of state and had stayed at this extended stay in the past with no issues. This time I did not feel safe and probably would not go back. The front desk employee was very nice. I got my room key and proceeded to the room. Upon arriving the door to my room was ajar and there was a bottle of soda and a pizza box on the counter. I pushed open the door and it abruptly was slammed in my face. I went to the front deask and told the attendant that the room she gave me had people in it. She apologized, but she said that her computer did not have any person in that room and they should be no one in the room. Needless to say that being a female traveling by herself I felt uneasy knowing that they maybe squatters staying in that room, possibly. I figured that was why the room door was propped open so they could get in and out without using a key. The front desk employee did give me a room that I had asked for, no one above me and no one on either side. I did stay for the
