In the heart of Bucharest, in a very quiet location, near a small park and some museum, walking distance to all major attractions, near the "Victory Road", there is a very nice hotel " Le Boutique Hotel Moxa", We have been there for couple of days and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are very spacious, clean & comfortable (deluxe rooms). The breakfast is excellent, The yard is very nice and the most important the staff is very polite and super professional!. I am sure I'll visit again and of course will recommend all my friends to visit "Le Boutique Hotel Moxa". It was really a very pleasant place to stay in Bucharest to be away from home but to feel at home… Recommended to tourists or businessmen. Thank you for the great time Nicole Assif
I very much enjoyed my 5 night stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Granted my room was small but since it was just me, it was just fine. My room was on the third floor and was very quiet. The breakfast in the mornings were good, they had a small selection of food from fruit, yogert, eggs, mini pancakes and sausages. The hotel is in walking distance of a couple of museums. I would defintly stay here again.
Me and my wife stayed here 3 nights. We booked for a standard room and we received an upgrade to a executive room ( our honeymoon ). The view is magnificient - Victory Path is great at night. The staff was very friendly and the terasse was lovely. I recomand the massage service. Overall service and trip A+
I travel on a weekly basis around the world, but this hotel has provided me with one of my most unmemorable stays! Firstly, their "non-smoking room" turned out to be smelling heavily of cigarette smoke. I therefore was offered an "upgrade" to a Business Room, which turned out to be a completely run down and bland room, nothing like the rooms pictured on their website. Over the first 2 days the shower fittings and hairdryer broke, followed by the toilet set fitting. The kitchenette, which I had to pass on my way to the bathroom, smelled of sewer and the TV only had very badly tuned programmes. On Day 3 I was asked to move room, so I packed everything in anticipation of having moved room by the end of the day. When returning that evening however I was told that there was no room available to move to, albeit it was the hotel's request for me to move!? I have never experienced such a level of incompetence, badly maintained accommodation and appalling customer service! I will never stay here again and definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone who want value for money.
This hotel is fine for business travel. The staff is very kind and professional. Rooms looks nice and classic. I like them. Not so far from city center but you need a car. Breakfast was in order and regular one. I suggest it. bye

An experience I wanted to share from my one night stay at Le Moxa. It was very hot when my girlfriend and I got back from downtown that day. We wanted to drink water but didn't want to use the minibar. So I called the front desk to ask if the tap water was drinkable. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to answer my request and added that we were supposed to have a welcoming bottle of water. Since this new information came up, I asked her if we could have one but she kept saying that she didn't know. Working in the hospitality industry, I could have expressed my disappointment towards her or the management but I did not. It's vacation time and I decided to go to the bar myself to ask for a bottle of water (usually it is still less expensive than the minibar, but it was only 1 lei less). However when I got to the bar, I told myself that it would be a shame if I leave the country without tasting Tuica (a liquor that can be compared with vodka). So I asked the bartender if he could pour me a glass of this famous roumanian beverage. It appeared that that day the bartender, a nice fellow named Constantin, brought a bottle of Tuica made by his Grandma and offered us, my girlfriend and I, to taste this one. This gesture was very appreciated and that's what made our stay special. Again, it was just a detail that made the difference but regarding the hotel industry, details are actually fading. I wanted to thank Constantin for this and no need to say that I slept well after that. Good service overall, good rooms, breakfast is just ok though for such a standing. Friendly staff indeed.
We stayed for one night at this hotel and we were impressed with the quality of the breakfast: it was varied and fresh. (pastry and bread, jams, Romanian cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, different nuts, fruit and cereals). The staff in the breakfast room was very quiet and in the same time, quick to replace anything that was almost finished without any guest prompting them to do so. The hotel is quiet despite being located on the main boulevard, blvd. Victoria. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful, and spoke good english. We booked the airport shuttle and we were pleased to see a big Mercedes pulling up in the parking (for 25 euro/car/trip). A few minor points: -we found the prices of the mini bar very expensive, more than in a 5 star hotel in Bucharest. -our room had a large column in the middle of it, right by the bed. It made the room look strange.
We arrived late at night. The guy at the reception gestured that our room is somewhere in the other building. After some struggling, we found the correct way, alas, lights on our floor were out! This time the receptionist apologised, did not know what the problem was, etc., helped us to find the room with the use of light from our mobiles in the darkened corridor. Inside the room, we found out that it was prepared for a single person (one set of slippers, a single bathrobe, one set of towels) rather than a couple, as we booked. Airconditioning was noisy and so was the water coming out of badly installed plumbing. Cheap furniture worn around the corners, but a profusion of touches like big paintings on the wall. Clearly the place strives to be a "boutique" hotel or whatever, but it ain't. However, it has to be added that airport transfer was efficient and, while costly, not a complete rip-off (25 euro). The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and breakfast adequate. Staff were in general trying to be helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the main squares. Next time in Bucharest, I might try to find a different hotel, but overall this wasn't a bad choice. I also found some irregularities in guest reviews (e.g. there are two purportedly by different persons yet sharing verbatim long slices of text) of which I notified Tripadvisor.
