A relação custo x beneficio é excelente. Staff super simpático e disposto a bem servir-lhe. Adorei.

Equipe gentil. Quarto grande, equipado com TV, ventilador, ar condicionado.

The hotel has a very positive feel as you enter. It has wonderful interiors with attention to detail. We were staying in room no 105 with the balcony facing a beautiful fountain with two tables laid out. The room was perfect. It is a travelers luxury at an affordable price. The food is amazing. If you are a non vegetarian Lal Maas with steamed rice is an absolute delight (Pls. note it’s a bit spicy) Never miss the 8PM Rajasthani dance on the terrace for it only multiplies the experience and celebration of the stay. It was a perfect place but on the last day we had a bad experience, our check out time was 12 noon and our flight was at 5pm. We requested if we could stay for an hour extra which they out right rejected. They then mentioned to us that we could pay for a half day which didn’t really make sense. Later they called us sharp at 12 noon to ask us if we are checking out and if they can send for someone to get the bags which was a big turn off as it seemed like they were hunting us out. We thought of visiting the place again but with the way the last day turned out to be I don’t want to go back to a hotel that’s not hospitable enough.

We stayed there for 3 nights in room no.207 in March 2014. It is very beautiful inside and out, as shown in the pictures. Even though we have the option of taking extra bed, we did not, as the bed given by them, is more than enough to accommodate all three of us. Mom, son, myself. We were given by the side of the pool with our own private balcony. Bath room, though on smaller side, is more than enough. Bath section separated by a glass. Everyday they promptly cleaned and changed everything needed. Breakfast has good choices, we enjoyed the food and the ambience of both the restaurant and roof top. Room service was prompt, food was excellent. We were flying back from Jaipur, due to shopping, I needed to measure the weights of my luggages. So I requested them a day ahead, and they got a weighing machine and I checked all for the weight, fortunately, they are below the limit. I was very thankful for this. We checked out at 3.45am, some bills were wrong, they were corrected right away. We really enjoyed this hotel. I would recommend it to all.

A very beautiful hotel in the old style. They sent a car to pick us up from the railway station. the Umaid Bhawan is stunningly pretty and well maintained. Each area, like the reception seems small and built with beautiful features in the Maharajah style with many terraces and balconies. There is an indoor swimming pool which is particularly beautiful. Whether every room has an outdoor area to itself I don't know but our room on the floor above the dining room and the restaurant outdoor area certainly did with a table and chairs and it afforded us smashing views across Jaipur and the hills beyond. The restaurant serves delicious and well-priced food. We had dinner there both nights and everything we had was super. The waiting staff were very efficient and friendly and the place was busy both nights. They serve alcohol and we had a good local white wine on one of the evenings. The Jaipur Literary festival was on during our stay and that was an extra bonus. Breakfast is served in the same dining room and features a help yourself buffet and a chef who will cook your eggs/omelettes anyway you like them. Our deal included breakfast and it is well worth it. We would certainly stay here again. We booked directly with the Umaid Bhawan using their web site and it all worked out splendidly.

We loved this place, and it was especially a welcome haven after our disastrous experience in Delhi (but that, as they say, is another story...). The decor of this hotel is beautiful, quirky and rich in colour, if somewhat mismatched. The hotel is finished to a high standard, is clean, well furnished and the rooms are equipped with practically everything you need and are very comfortable. Many have a balcony to appease the smokers. This hotel was unbelievable value for money, particularly the package we'd opted for which included breakfast and the use of a chauffeur for 8 hours/80 kms a day... whichever came first. There is also a sister hotel of almost the same name, although this would appear the less costly of the two. Whilst the Umaid Bhawan is fairly tucked away, located at the end of a fairly large cul de sac, that makes it wonderfully tranquil, and especially at night, by which time you already have a migraine from the incessant blaring of tuk tuk and vehicle horns. The mini fridge item costs were a little on the high side, but that seems to be a general rule in hotels, so I'd recommend stocking up on a few locally purchased drinks. The staff are friendly and bend over backwards to help you. The pool area is beautiful, although perhaps could do with a clean. The rooftop restaurant is spacious and a lovely place to view the setting sun from, and to dine in the cool of the night of. Note that drinks are billed separately to your food as separate taxes apply. The hotel provides great entertainment and is not far from the central train station. Towels are changed regularly and water replenished. There are usually tuk tuks outside the hotel, so there is no real need to book a taxi, unless your journey is lengthy. I would return there in a heartbeat.

Good hotel to act as a base while touring Jaipur for a couple of days. The architecture is attractive, the rooms are decorated and furnished with "antiques" however the rooms do not have space to store your clothes (you are living out of a suitcase). The roof top restaurant and the food is excellent. The staff are not engaging and I am not sure if this is a language issue or not. Would recommend as a base for a couple of days only.
